The well-known and successful franchise of Rovio's Angry Birds has entertained millions of people all around Earth. From The Original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Rio and now, the newest of them — Angry Birds Space.
The same plot is adopted by this new version. And yes, the birds are still angry because those nasty pigs stole their eggs, which are eggsteroids to match the theme of the game. The game is divided into two zones, namely Pig Bang and Cold Cuts. Each of the zones have 30 levels to complete. The in-style 3-star completion scheme is applied per level. At the end of each level comes the boss of the zone. Defeating it would unlock the next zone.
The new installment of the Angry Birds series takes us to the vast outer space. What's exciting here is the setting where a gravitational field is surrounding a planet and you have to deal with those to shoot the pigs. Sometimes, you will not only deal with a single planet but two, three or more of them. That's where it gets thrilling. You have to experiment on how to take this gravitational Physics to your advantage and eliminate those pigs!

As the banner above suggests, new birds will be used to shoot against the enemy pigs. Some of the changes are only visual upgrades of the original game. The regular red bird was just enhanced visually and no changes in performance was implemented. The blue birds also don't perform differently from their previous version counterparts. When tapped at the mid-air (or space for that matter), they will split into three little blue birds. The big red bird just changed in color to green and no changes were made on its usage. The exploding black bird is almost the same as the black bird you once used on previous Angry Birds versions. Visual changes were made to it and the same happened to the egg-laying bird. Only two of them had changes the way the players use them For an instance, the yellow dashing bird from others installments was changed into a purple sonic bird. The player can now change the direction on which the bird will dash by tapping into the location. As opposed to the previous versions' uncontrollable dash direction. A new bird is also introduced in this installment. You can unlock the ice bird that turns everything near it into chilled nuggets. It sets up the affected area for the next sling to be more destructive.
Mini games can also be unlocked in this version. Instead of golden eggs, you have to search for Golden Eggsteroids. When a bird touches it, a vortex will appear and transports them into the mini-game. It's all up to you to discover what these mini-games are.
Generally, the game is easy to play when you have already mastered the laws of gravitation. But some stages require pure luck in order for the player to finish the level with three stars. The game is entertaining enough to let the dull times past. Playing with asteroid sure is fun with those birds and pigs!
